Thomas Jefferson Hour has expanded its scope, and the host, Clay S. Jenkinson, has renamed the show to "Listening to America." Thomas Jefferson will still be making appearances, but the show now explores significant moments in US history outside of the Jefferson era.A weekly radio program dedicated to the search for truth in the tradition of our third president. Clay S. Jenkinson, a nationally-acclaimed humanities scholar and award-winning first-person interpreter of Thomas Jefferson, portrays the president on the program. Jenkinson answers listener questions in the persona of Jefferson; our discussions are grounded in the writings and actions of the Founding Father. Our mission is to generate discourse between neighbors, friends and family, and to revitalize a national conversation about issues that are essential to our country and its citizens. The Thomas Jefferson Hour is a call for a second American Enlightenment.
